Anker SOLIX

Compare portable power stations, expansion batteries and solar panels by output, capacity and the connections your setup needs.

About the range

Find the power system that fits the job.

Anker SOLIX spans compact portable power, larger home-backup stations, expansion batteries and solar panels. Start with your appliance running and startup wattage, then choose battery capacity for the runtime you need.

At Grid Getaway, the exact model matters. F3800 and F3800 Plus are different stations; C1000 Gen 2 and C2000 Gen 2 have different capacities, outputs and solar-input ceilings. A panel bundle changes what arrives in the package, while an expansion battery adds stored energy rather than raising a station’s AC rating.

Compare the documented limits and box contents on each product page. For transfer switches or home-circuit connections, follow the manufacturer’s design guide and use a qualified electrician.

Before you choose

Anker SOLIX questions, answered.

The distinctions that matter when comparing stations, solar bundles and home-backup hardware.

What is the difference between watts and watt-hours?

Watts describe the continuous power a station can supply to devices. Watt-hours describe stored battery energy and help estimate runtime. Compare appliance startup demand as well as running demand.

Does adding an expansion battery raise AC output?

No. A compatible expansion battery adds energy capacity and runtime. The base station’s continuous AC rating stays the same unless Anker documents a specific multi-station configuration.

Can I connect any Anker SOLIX panel to any station?

No. Check the panel’s open-circuit voltage, operating current, total array wiring and connector against the exact station input. A 400W panel label alone does not establish compatibility.

What changes between F3800 and F3800 Plus?

Both are 3,840Wh, 6,000W stations, but their solar-input and supported home/generator integration details differ. Compare the individual product pages and manufacturer guides before choosing accessories.

What comes with a solar-generator bundle?

The included station, panel count and accessories vary by exact product listing. Read its “What’s included” section; do not assume a panel, expansion battery or installation equipment is included with the standalone station.

Do I need an electrician for a home-backup connection?

Yes. Transfer switches, inlet boxes, panels and home circuits should be designed and installed according to the manufacturer guide and local code by a qualified electrician. Never backfeed a wall outlet.
