About Renogy

Your Power System. Thought Through.

Renogy grew from a Louisiana State University student project in 2010 into an off-grid energy brand. Its focus reaches beyond a single panel or battery to the connected parts of a working power system.

The range at Grid Getaway includes solar panels, batteries, MPPT and PWM controllers, inverters, DC-DC chargers and complete kits. Monitoring, cables, protection and mounting equipment help turn those larger purchases into a practical installation.

Whether you are building a van, updating an RV or planning a cabin, start with your daily energy needs and charging opportunities. Then choose the system voltage and components around that plan, with room for the way you actually travel or live.

Your Renogy Questions, Answered.

Practical details to help you choose the right equipment and supporting components.

What parts do I need for a Renogy solar system?

A typical battery-based system needs panels, suitable charge control, battery storage and properly specified wiring and protection. AC appliances also need a suitable inverter. Mounting, monitoring and other charging sources depend on your installation.

Is a DC-DC charger the same as a solar charge controller?

No. A DC-DC charger manages charging from a compatible DC source such as a vehicle electrical system. A solar controller manages input from panels. Some Renogy units combine both roles; check the exact input limits and supported operating modes.

Will every Renogy device connect to ONE or Bluetooth?

No. Monitoring and communications support vary by model and generation. Confirm the supported device list, required modules and cable connections for your intended display or app setup.

How do I select an inverter or inverter charger?

Match the battery-bank voltage, AC output voltage, continuous load and startup requirements. An inverter charger adds a charging function from a supported AC supply; that is different from a standalone inverter.

Can I mix older and newer Renogy batteries?

Do not assume that matching voltage makes different batteries suitable for one bank. Review the exact models, chemistry, capacity, age and permitted series or parallel configurations with the manufacturer guidance before connecting them.

What warranty and support apply to my order?

Coverage and registration requirements vary by product. Contact Grid Getaway with the exact Renogy model to confirm the terms that apply to your purchase. Manufacturer-direct promotions or extended coverage should not be assumed to apply to every sales channel.
