How do I choose the right Jackery power station?

Start with the devices you want to run, their running and startup watts, and how long you need them. Watts describe output; watt-hours describe stored energy. Check both, then consider weight, charging options and whether you want to expand later.

The Explorer 100 Plus and Explorer 300D are USB/DC-focused models without AC outlets. For household plug-in appliances, choose an AC-output station with suitable ratings. Use our Power Planner to estimate your needs.

What is the difference between a power station and a solar generator bundle?

A power station stores electricity and supplies it to compatible devices. A solar generator bundle pairs a station with one or more solar panels for recharging from sunlight. Different panel counts or battery add-ons change the package, not the identity of its base model.

Are Explorer 1000 v2 and HomePower 1000 v2 the same?

No. Explorer 1000 v2 has 1070Wh of capacity and 1500W AC output. HomePower 1000 v2 has 1024Wh and 1500W AC output. HomePower 1000 Plus v2 is a third, distinct model with 1024Wh, 1800W AC output and support for compatible expansion batteries.

We keep each model in its own collection so colors and bundles stay grouped with the correct station.

Which Jackery models support expansion batteries?

Expandable models in our range include Explorer 1000 Plus, Explorer 2000 Plus, Explorer 5000 Plus, HomePower 1000 Plus v2, HomePower 2000 Plus v2, HomePower 3600 Plus and HomePower 3600 Pro Max.

Expansion packs are not interchangeable across those platforms. In particular, the HomePower 1000 Plus v2 and HomePower 2000 Plus v2 use the Battery Pack 2000 Plus v2 platform, not the original Explorer 2000 Plus pack. Ask us to confirm the exact pairing before ordering.

How do I check solar panel compatibility?

Match the station's permitted solar-input voltage, current and wattage with the exact panel model and wiring arrangement. Check connectors and any required Jackery adapter, too. A matching plug or a similar product name is not enough to establish compatibility.

What should I consider for home backup?

Decide whether you are backing up individual plug-in appliances or selected home circuits. Add the loads that will run together, account for startup surge, and choose enough stored energy for your target runtime. Solar production and actual runtime vary with conditions.

For 240V loads, check the exact model and configuration: one HomePower 3600 Pro Max is rated for 4000W at 240V or 2000W at 120V. Home-circuit connections require compatible transfer equipment and a qualified electrician. Never backfeed a wall outlet.

What warranty and support apply through Grid Getaway?

Jackery warranty terms vary by product and purchasing channel. Some extra-year offers on Jackery's website are exclusive to direct purchases, so they should not be assumed to apply to a Grid Getaway order.

Before purchasing, contact our team with the exact product to confirm the applicable coverage, eligibility and any registration requirements. Keep your receipt and serial number. Grid Getaway can help with order questions; manufacturer claims are subject to Jackery's warranty terms.

Can I choose a color or solar bundle from the model collection?

Yes. Each model collection brings together its related listings, including the colors, solar-panel packages and expansion options we carry. Open an individual product to choose its available options and check current pricing and availability.
