Many are 48V-class batteries, but capacity, case size, heating, monitoring and inverter communication differ by exact model.
Size the battery bank
Start with usable energy in kilowatt-hours and the continuous discharge current your inverter needs. A 51.2V, 100Ah battery has 5.12kWh of nominal energy; usable energy depends on the model’s permitted depth of discharge and operating limits. Check the selected battery’s dimensions, weight and rack or cabinet requirements before ordering.
Verify inverter and expansion fit
Match the manufacturer’s battery-voltage range, charge settings, communication protocol and approved parallel configuration to your inverter. Do not assume two rack batteries can be combined simply because their nominal voltage is the same. If the installation is cold, compare the model-specific low-temperature charging and self-heating rules.
