Inverter chargers, solar control and monitoring for an energy system that works together.
Explore Victron Energy CollectionsUnderstand Your Power. Connect the Pieces.
Victron Energy develops equipment for interconnected power systems across off-grid, marine and mobile applications. Its approach combines power conversion and charging with the ability to monitor what the system is doing.
Our carried range includes MultiPlus-II inverter chargers, SmartSolar MPPT controllers and Orion XS DC-DC chargers. SmartShunt, Cerbo GX and GX Touch equipment support monitoring and control, while Lynx products address DC distribution.
Choose components around the system voltage, AC configuration, charging sources and loads. Then confirm the interfaces, accessories and configuration required to make the selected equipment operate together.

Your Victron Energy Questions, Answered.
Practical details to help you choose the right equipment and supporting components.
What is an inverter charger?
It combines DC-to-AC conversion with battery charging from a supported AC source. MultiPlus-II models vary by battery voltage, AC configuration, charging rating and other specifications; choose the exact version for your system.
Are VA and watts interchangeable in model names?
No. Apparent power in VA and real output power in watts are different ratings. Read the manufacturer continuous-power specifications and operating conditions rather than interpreting a model number as a watt rating.
Do I need both Cerbo GX and GX Touch?
They have different functions. Cerbo GX is a system communication and control device; GX Touch is a compatible display accessory. Check the required equipment and connections for the way you want to monitor your system.
Does a SmartShunt charge a battery?
No. A SmartShunt measures battery current and supports monitoring. It does not replace a solar controller, AC charger or DC-DC charger.
Can I use a third-party lithium battery?
Compatibility depends on the battery, charger settings and any required communications. Review the supported battery guidance for the exact Victron equipment and battery model before designing the system.
What warranty and support apply to my order?
Coverage and registration requirements vary by product. Contact Grid Getaway with the exact Victron Energy model to confirm the terms that apply to your purchase. Manufacturer-direct promotions or extended coverage should not be assumed to apply to every sales channel.
