48V Inverters
Shop 48V inverters for battery-based off-grid solar and backup power. This collection brings together inverter/chargers and hybrid solar models from SunGoldPower, RUiXU, Victron, Renogy, and RICH SOLAR. Features differ by model, so compare the electrical ratings before choosing a unit for a cabin, workshop, or home backup system.
How to choose a 48V inverter
Start with continuous AC output rather than peak or surge power. Check whether your loads need 120V output or 120/240V split-phase output. If you want to connect solar panels, confirm that the specific inverter includes an MPPT charge controller and compare its allowed PV voltage, current, and power with your planned array. Some inverter/chargers in this collection do not include solar charging.
Match the inverter to the battery bank using the manufacturer’s battery voltage range, charging settings, and any required battery-management communication. A shared 48V label alone does not establish compatibility. Check the manual for parallel operation, installation clearances, wiring, and certifications where those requirements matter to your project.
