WARRANTY POLICY

Warranty Policy

At GridGetaway, we stand behind the products we sell and work closely with our manufacturing partners to help customers receive dependable support when issues arise. Because many of our products are technical, electrical, or manufacturer-direct items, warranty coverage varies by brand, product type, and manufacturer.

IMPORTANT

Manufacturer Warranty Coverage

Most products sold by GridGetaway are backed by a manufacturer warranty. Warranty terms, duration, coverage, claim requirements, and final decisions are determined by the manufacturer.

GridGetaway is happy to assist with the warranty process whenever possible, but we cannot approve, deny, modify, or override manufacturer warranty decisions.

Products Typically Covered

Solar panels, batteries, power stations, solar generators, inverters, chargers, power kits, energy storage systems, and electrical accessories.

Warranty Types May Include

Limited warranties, performance warranties, defect warranties, capacity retention warranties, and component-specific warranties.

GridGetaway Warranty Assistance

If you experience an issue with your product, you may contact the manufacturer directly or contact GridGetaway for assistance coordinating the claim.

We will do our best to guide you through the process, help gather required information, and provide order details where needed.

Please note: Final warranty decisions are made solely by the manufacturer according to their official warranty terms.

Battery Warranty Information

Battery warranties may be affected by depth of discharge, storage conditions, charging practices, temperature exposure, improper charging systems, overcharging, deep discharge, inverter compatibility, and environmental conditions.

Solar Panel Warranty Information

Solar panels may include product workmanship warranties and performance output warranties. Improper installation, mounting damage, poor handling, and incorrect electrical connections may affect coverage.

Inverters & Power Systems

Warranty coverage for inverters, chargers, transfer switches, power stations, and electrical systems may depend on proper installation, voltage compatibility, surge protection, grounding, and correct system integration.

Labor & Installation Costs

Unless specifically stated by the manufacturer, warranty coverage typically applies only to the defective product itself and does not cover electrician fees, labor, removal, reinstallation, downtime, travel, or rental equipment.

Warranty Shipping Costs

Warranty shipping policies vary by manufacturer. Depending on the claim, customers may be responsible for return shipping, manufacturers may provide prepaid labels, replacement parts may ship directly, or products may require inspection before replacement.

GridGetaway will help coordinate shipping instructions whenever possible.

Limitation of Liability

GridGetaway is not liable for incidental, indirect, or consequential damages arising from product failure, improper installation, misuse, shipping delays, or manufacturer warranty decisions.

Our responsibility is limited to assisting customers through the manufacturer warranty process whenever possible.

Manufacturer Final Authority

All warranty approvals, denials, repair decisions, replacement determinations, and claim outcomes are made by the product manufacturer according to their official warranty policies.

GridGetaway cannot guarantee warranty approval, repair, replacement, refund, or claim acceptance.
