The BougeRV PC35 3,500 BTU portable air conditioner is a fixed-speed cooling unit for a small tent or other compact space. The US PC35 manual identifies model PC47001, a 100–120 V AC input, five operating modes and a net weight of 34.17 lb (15.5 kg). This is the standard PC35, not the lighter PC35 PRO.

Power station requirements

The compressor can draw an instantaneous startup surge of up to 2,000 W / 18 A. BougeRV specifies an energy-storage unit or inverter rated for at least 2 kW continuous output. Check the inverter output before pairing the AC with a power station; running-power figures alone do not establish startup compatibility.

Cooling and setup

Choose Cool, Dry, Fan, Sleep or Rocket/Strong mode. In Cool and Fan modes, select from three fan speeds. Route the supplied 150 cm hot-air exhaust duct outdoors, keep intake and outlet clear, and connect the 100 cm drain pipe when humidity or prolonged operation calls for drainage. The temperature setting range is 61–90 °F (16–32 °C).

Can the PC35 run from a portable power station? Yes, if the power station has a 100–120 V AC output rated for at least 2 kW continuous output. The PC35 manual warns that compressor startup may draw up to 2 kW / 18 A; check the station’s output and the AC load of anything else connected. Does the PC35 need an exhaust duct? Yes.
