The FIRMAN P01202 is a gas-powered portable generator with recoil start for camping, tailgating, and other portable-power needs. It provides 1,500 watts of starting power and 1,200 watts of running power.

Plan Connected Loads

Use the 1,200-watt running output for appliances and equipment whose continuous electrical demand fits within that rating. The 1,500-watt starting rating provides additional capacity for startup demands, so check each connected device’s requirements before use.

Check Outlet Requirements

The generator has a 20A, 120V AC outlet. Compare this outlet rating with the connection and electrical requirements of the equipment you plan to power.

Recoil-Start Configuration

The 80 cc engine and recoil-start configuration support portable use where manually starting the unit is acceptable. Review connected-load requirements and applicable operating guidance before use.

Compare backup options

Our gas versus solar generator guide explains the practical differences between fuel-powered and battery-based backup systems.
