Can the G2 inverter start a motor that briefly draws more than 2000W? Possibly, if the measured startup demand stays within the published 4000W peak capability and its permitted duration. The 12V bank, BMS, fuse, cables, and terminals must also deliver the surge without excessive voltage sag or protection shutdown. Which high-current parts come with the 2000W G2 inverter? Renogy lists a pair of 3-foot 1/0 AWG battery cables and a wired remote with the inverter. You still need a suitable 12V battery bank, correctly placed external fuse, disconnect, mounting hardware, and any application-specific AC protection or wiring. Will this G2 inverter recharge my batteries when shore power is available? No. It converts 12V battery power to 120V AC but is not an inverter-charger. Add a charger designed for the battery chemistry and shore source, plus approved transfer equipment if loads must switch between utility and inverter power.
