HomePower 1000 Plus v2 · Black

This black HomePower 1000 Plus v2 stores 1,024Wh and supplies 1,800W continuous 120V AC power. The 3,600W figure is a brief surge rating, not continuous output. It is the expandable 1000 Plus v2 model, distinct from the non-expandable HomePower 1000 v2.

Size your loads

  • Four 120V AC outlets share the 1,800W total running limit; appliance startup demand must also fit the 3,600W peak rating.
  • Two USB-C ports are rated up to 140W and 30W respectively, plus an 18W USB-A port and a 12V/10A car outlet.
  • Battery capacity sets the energy budget; device draw and inverter losses determine runtime. A 1,024Wh rating is not a promised hour count.

Charging and expansion

  • Two DC8020 inputs accept 16–60V solar power, up to 400W combined. Jackery lists approximately 75 minutes for normal AC charging and 50 minutes in emergency fast-charge mode.
  • Jackery confirms expansion with Battery Pack 2000 Plus v2 only, up to five matching packs; the older 2000 Plus and 1000 Plus batteries are not compatible.
  • For two simultaneous solar inputs, Jackery requires matching panel quantities and models on both parallel-connected ports. Confirm the array voltage and current before wiring.

What's in the box and documentation

The standalone black configuration includes one HomePower 1000 Plus v2 station, one AC charging cable, and the product manual. Solar panels and expansion batteries are separate. Read the manufacturer user manual (PDF).

Frequently Asked Questions

Clear answers to common questions about this product, setup, compatibility, and use.

Is 3,600W the continuous output? No. HomePower 1000 Plus v2 is rated at 1,800W continuous total 120V AC output. The 3,600W figure is a short surge rating for startup loads. Which battery pack expands this model? Jackery explicitly lists Battery Pack 2000 Plus v2. It says the older Battery Pack 2000 Plus and Battery Pack 1000 Plus are not compatible. Up to five matching v2 packs can expand nominal storage to about 11kWh. How much solar can it accept? The two DC8020 inputs accept 16–60V solar input with a 400W combined maximum. Jackery says both ports are parallel-connected and must receive the same model and quantity of panels when used together. Check cold-weather voltage and array current. What is included in the standalone station box? One black HomePower 1000 Plus v2 power station, one AC charging cable, and the product user manual. Solar panels and expansion batteries are separate. How fast does wall charging work? Jackery lists about 75 minutes for normal AC charging and about 50 minutes in emergency fast-charge mode under its stated conditions. Actual time varies with mode, starting charge, temperature, and source. Will it run my refrigerator or power tools? Check the actual appliance running watts and startup surge against 1,800W continuous and 3,600W surge. Estimate runtime from measured energy use; a refrigerator cycling on and off cannot be given one universal runtime. How is it different from HomePower 1000 v2? Both have a 1,024Wh nominal battery, but this Plus v2 has 1,800W continuous output and supports the verified 2000 Plus v2 expansion pack. The non-Plus HomePower 1000 v2 is rated at 1,500W and is a different model.
