The Renogy 320W 12V Monocrystalline Solar Panel 2 Pack includes two 320W monocrystalline modules for a combined 640W STC nameplate array. Each panel uses 60 cells and delivers 33.0V at its optimum operating point, with a 40.3V ± 5% open-circuit voltage and 9.70A optimum operating current. This two-panel configuration is intended for planning a solar array around the connected charge controller and battery system.
Plan the Array and Controller Connection
Before connecting the pair, size the solar charge controller for the array's voltage and current limits. Wiring in series raises array voltage while wiring in parallel raises array current, so compare the chosen configuration with the controller's maximum PV voltage, current, operating range, and applicable oversizing rules.
