RUiXU SUNON7.2 | 7.2kW 48V Off-Grid Inverter

The SUNON7.2 is a 7,200W off-grid inverter for a nominal 48V battery system. Its configurable 120/240V output and two MPPT inputs support a planned split-phase solar installation.

Each MPPT supports up to 4.5kW PV, for 9kW combined. Respect the 500V PV Voc ceiling and 16A input limit per MPPT. Confirm the chosen battery’s 40–60V operating range, BMS current and communication protocol.

Common questions

Can I connect a 9kW solar array? The two MPPTs total 9kW of published PV input power, but every string must also stay within its MPPT current, operating-voltage window and cold-corrected 500V Voc limit.

Is this the same as RX-12K? No. SUNON7.2 is an off-grid inverter; the RX-12K is a grid-interactive hybrid design.
